Memnu yani men edilmi\u015f, yasak. Halit Ziya genellikle eserlerini a\u011f\u0131r ve anlamas\u0131 zor bir dille yazm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Iste bu \u00f6zelliklere sahip me\u015fhur &#8220;A\u015fk-\u0131 Memnu&#8221; da 1899-1900 y\u0131llar\u0131 i\u00e7inde bir dergide arkas\u0131 yar\u0131n bi\u00e7iminde yay\u0131nlanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Bu derginin ismi &#8220;Servet-i F\u00fcnun&#8221; yani &#8220;ilimler hazinesi&#8221; dir. Servet-i F\u00fcnun dergisi 1890 l\u00fc y\u0131llar\u0131n edebiyat ak\u0131m\u0131 olan &#8220;edebiyat-\u0131 cedide&#8221; yani &#8220;yeni edebiyat&#8221; \u0131n resmi yay\u0131n organ\u0131d\u0131r. Bu ak\u0131m\u0131n en \u00f6nemli akt\u00f6r\u00fc 1896 y\u0131l\u0131nda derginin ba\u015f\u0131na ge\u00e7mi\u015f olan Tevfik Fikret tir. Tevfik Fikret yaz\u0131 ve fikirleriyle, Cenap \u015eahabettin \u015fiirleriyle ve Halit Ziya U\u015fakl\u0131gil romanlar\u0131yla bu d\u00f6neme damgalar\u0131n\u0131 vurmu\u015flard\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>Derginin Anadolu&#8217;ya hitap etti\u011fini ve \u00e7ok sat\u0131ld\u0131g\u0131n\u0131 s\u00f6ylemek m\u00fcmk\u00fcn de\u011fil. Tahmini sat\u0131\u015f adeti 1000 k\u00fcsur olarak d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fclebilir. Bu nedenle Halit Ziya&#8217;n\u0131n &#8220;A\u015fk-\u0131 Memnu&#8221; serisinin \u00e7ok ilgi \u00e7ektigini ve bilinirli\u011finin y\u00fcksek oldu\u011fu s\u00f6ylenemez. Zaten yukar\u0131da bahsetti\u011fim gibi bu ak\u0131m\u0131n yazd\u0131\u011f\u0131 eserlerde halktan kopuk a\u011f\u0131r bir dil kullan\u0131lm\u0131\u015f ve bunun do\u011fal sonucu olarak 5 y\u0131l i\u00e7inde de dergi yay\u0131ndan kalkm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>Ge\u00e7mi\u015fte dili a\u011f\u0131r olan ve pek fazla ra\u011fbet g\u00f6rmeyen &#8220;Ask-\u0131 Memnu&#8221;, yakla\u015f\u0131k 110 y\u0131l sonra, daha basit dil kullan\u0131larak ve baz\u0131 eklemeler yap\u0131larak \u00f6nemli bir kitle taraf\u0131ndan merakla beklenen veya konusu ezberlenen bir eser haline geliyor.<\/p>\n<p>Yani en az\u0131ndan gen\u00e7lere &#8220;Servet-i f\u00fcnun&#8221; ve Edebiyat-\u0131 Cedide&#8221; anlat\u0131l\u0131rken \u00f6gretmenlerin i\u015fi kolayla\u015ft\u0131 diyebiliriz:&#8221; &#8220;A\u015fk-\u0131 Memnu&#8221; yu hat\u0131rlam\u0131yor musunuz? Frans\u0131zca \u00f6greten bir dad\u0131. Bu d\u00f6nemdekiler bat\u0131ya bakt\u0131lar, Frans\u0131z gibi duyarak,kendi toplumlar\u0131n\u0131n ya\u015fay\u0131\u015flar\u0131n\u0131 gerekti\u011fi gibi aksettirmediler. Ne halk,k\u00f6yl\u00fc ne de i\u015f\u00e7i meselesi ve duygular\u0131n\u0131 ele almad\u0131lar.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Tabi burada Tevfik Fikret i\u00e7in ayr\u0131ca bir paragraf a\u00e7al\u0131m. Elbette Tevfik Fikret&#8217;de ag\u0131r dille yazm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r ve bu nedenle bug\u00fcn onun eserlerini okumak isteyenler i\u00e7in \u015fiirleri t\u00fcrk\u00e7eye \u00e7evrilmi\u015ftir.(A\u011f\u0131r dil diye s\u00fcrekli yaz\u0131yorum, a\u011f\u0131r dil halk\u0131n kullanmad\u0131\u011f\u0131 bir\u00e7ok yeni s\u00f6zc\u00fck kullan\u0131lmas\u0131 \u00f6zellikle arap\u00e7a ve fars\u00e7a. II. Abdulhamid&#8217;in nerede ortaya \u00e7\u0131kacag\u0131 belli olmayan hafiyeleri ve bask\u0131c\u0131 idare tarz\u0131 halk\u0131 bunalt\u0131yordu.<\/p>\n<p>ABD&#8217;li edebiyat\u00e7\u0131 Francis-Marion Crawford bu d\u00f6nemlerde Istanbul&#8217;u s\u0131k s\u0131k ziyaret etti.
